Profile Information

I am interested in the following health related topics:

I've been a registered patient since Sept of 2007 and have sort of ad-hoc helped people to learn about Amendment 20 since then, especially growers who didn't know A20 existed. I have been doing this work full-time since July of this year. I was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2001 and knew MJ helped with some of the effects, but I'm not quite sure where that line was between medicine and recreation.

About Me:

I am the executive director of Coloradans for Medical Marijuana Regulation, a coalition of medical marijuana patients, providers and growers supporting responsible regulation of medical marijuana. He has been actively involved in medical marijuana for more than two years and recently founded Colorado CannaBusiness Consultants, a Denver-area consulting firm specializing in assisting medical marijuana entrepreneurs to properly license and incorporate their business. Between July and November of this year, Matt helped over 30 caregiver organizations to incorporate under Colorado law and consulted with approximately 60 other caregivers about their businesses. Previously, Matt worked for Bloomberg LP and then became a sales strategy consultant for Accenture, where he consulted Fortune 100 companies in telecommunications, retail and health care services. In 2007, Matt left Accenture to co-found a tech startup where he led technical strategy for a patent-pending mobile shopping analytics platform.

Poll by Coloradans for Medical Marijuana Regulation Finds Overwhelming Support for Licensed Dispensaries

Coloradans for Medical Marijuana Regulation, a coalition of medical marijuana patients and providers supporting responsible regulation of medical marijuana, today released a statewide poll illustrating that Colorado voters overwhelmingly favor regulating state-licensed dispensaries to serve persons who are suffering from debilitating medical conditions.
